Since my last news things have been as hectic as ever - I played the main stage at Glastonbury with Tony Christie, I backed the legendary Rolf Harris, I played some nice gigs and festivals with my own band and have done more than my fair share of shows on Priscilla Queen Of The Desert which, by the way, is now booking to October 2010!!

So what of the rest of the year? Well, my good friend James Pusey has finally finished his album and it will be released in the next few weeks. We had a lot of fun recording it and I am looking forward to hearing the finished results. Check it out at www.jamespusey.com

I have 3 dates with American singer and 5 times Grammy nominee Michael Feinstein. I am really looking forward to these dates particularly as one of them is at the London Palladium.

Not long after that I will be performing at the Royal Northern College of Music with the Simon Willescroft Band. This is part of the college's Saxophone Day and will be the finale of the evening concert. Simon is a world class saxophonist and one of my closest friends and I am very much looking forward to making him sound good!! Check him out at www.myspace.com/simonwillescroft

Throughout all of this I am in the middle of a short UK tour with a show called That's Amore. It is a tribute to Dean Martin featuring Mark Adams. The show features classic songs from the Rat Pack era and all of the Dean Martin comedy to boot.

Finally, as if all the playing wasn't keeping me busy enough I am now doing 1 day a week teaching at Drumtech in London. It was a great honour to be asked to teach at what is one of the worlds leading drum teaching schools and it is something I am really enjoying the challenge of lecturing to 30 students a week!!

So there we are, there's enough to keep me going until the new year and hopefully beyond. Next year is shaping up to be as busy if not busier with lots of other exciting projects in the pipeline. More about them in my next update (if I'm still awake...)
